Sure is easier running downhill. In the left hand picture, that's the Furman Campus in the distance beyond Marc

Mile 7 on the left, shortly after we hit the only all-female aid station. ALL the volunteers were wonderful!

The course headed out onto a busy highway, not sure if the cones really helped any.
Soon we turned into a nice residential area...and more hills!

We appreciate ALL the volunteers - all ages and both genders!

On the left, another uphill pull looms beyond Mile 10.
On the right, Marc points out the summit of Paris Mtn over his shoulder (the ridge line)

Back out on a four lane highway, at least we have the paved shoulder. In the distance you see the last long pull to mile 12
The finish is beautiful - through the gates of Furman, by the fountain...

Dodge a couple of cars and make the last turn in front of the Music Building.
Kinda neat to be running a non-chip race again - they used the pull tab!
