Up, Up, and Away

This first trip to New Mexico blessed us with perfect ballooning weather. We flew into ABQ and were treated to flights by Murray, and what a treat it was. If you don't really care about ballooning, click here to skip to pictures of the marathon.

It takes a lot of gear to get a balloon in the air. And a Big Truck to carry it all in. And propane. And a little bit of helium, that's in the tank Murray is holding.

Julie can drive a truck like you wouldn't believe. More on that later.

It also takes a lot of people to get a balloon in the air. We are now officially "ground crew."
