Up, Up, and Away
Taking a swim in the Rio Grande

Only John and Ron decided to take Murray up on his offer of an early morning flight for Saturday. It was well worth it.

We're off in the early morning smooth air.

First we go high

But Murray has a special treat for us - he descends to the Rio Grande

Soon we are hovering at water level. OK, just below water level

Pick your feet up!

Back up to altitude

We have company on Saturday morning

Our ground crew approaches - Kristen and Stephanie

Murray holds it in place

How many teenagers would get up at Oh-Dark-30 to haul a balloon around for their Dad?

AND - that's Julie leading the line out to start the deflation process

Thanks to Kristen and Stephanie (and Julie) for a great job, making it possible for a couple of Old Guys to enjoy the beauty of ballooning.
