Hello Penguins!

In all the years I have been on this list I don't think I have ever read so many touching posts about one race as I have this week. I am so proud of each and everyone of you!

The dinner at Padrone's was wonderful. The love in that room was boundless....yes, Dudley, it is like family, one big noisy wonderful family! I'm so happy I had the opportunity to be there even if I did miss the other encounters.

During the race I saw a lot of Penguins but I know most of you did not see me all of the time. At mile 8 I saw Abe and Nangel, and Daniel, Cher and Mary. First Avenue is something very special. I don't know whether it's more overwhelming being a runner or a spectator there. I saw Karen B. and her Achilles athlete. We went over to Abe's Park and I caught a glimpse of Abe and Nangel again. I also saw Cher and Ken F. Later we saw Lauren at about mile 24 looking very strong! As we headed to the finish area we walked under a bridge in the park and up above me I could see Karen B. and Harriet. I wish I had the opportunity to see all of you.
