New York City Marathon

That's Todd on the left and Kim's brother John on the right. Notice no runners yet, our Scream
Team is in place and on schedule.

Around the corner come the motorcycles escorting the lead runners - this is the Orange Start,
so there are no elites here. Elite Women started 30 min before the cannon fired, and Elite Men
are a few blocks away in the Blue Start

First, a pack of "skinnyfasts" streaks by. Looks like their feet are WAY too far off the ground.
Somebody's gonna get hurt!

The Orange Start is the place for really fast female runners. Here comes 27 year old Julia Stamps
from right here in NYC.

Does she look fast? She ended up running 2:51:45. That's fast. But then there were a lot of
young ladies that were fast - the winning time in her age group was 2:26:59. Amazing.

Couple of the runners in this pack ended up finishing in 2:48 and 2:51.

After the skinnyfasts, the regular people started to show up. In the pink is Silvia Sozzi from
Italy, who would go on to finish in 5:01, while Liz (F7871) from NY made it in 4:26.

We know it LOOKS like John McEnroe, but it's a Brit - Dominic Lovegrove spent 4:56 carrying
that raquet through the streets of NYC.

Here we come! Why does this runner seem to be going against the grain? When we spotted
our Scream Team, Kim took a Hard Left, elbowed a couple of people, and made it to the side!

We think she's saying "ALL THOSE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO RUN OVER ME!!"

There they are, our fabulous Scream Team! to the right of Kim, L to R: John, Bob, Beth, Todd

Back on the road again. You can spot Ron above the crowd and Kim giving her "See Ya Next Stop"
wave as we pull away.
