A few post marathon words from Johnny Nolen: I appreciate Marc and his work and words of encouragement; the encouragement of seeing Greg go the distance out on the road, the electrolytes you offered to help work out the cramps, Kimya's words @ mile 19 saying "we are going to finish this marathon", Sharon asking about my condition all along &- "Are you okay, you are not going to pass out are you?", as I was coming up the hill to the finish, and Tommy for the rubbing out the cramps spasms in my shin. I have never had cramps there before or had both feet go numb when I was trying to walk in those last miles. That was an unbelievable tough one for me to finish and would have not completed my only one of 26, not for all of your support! Johnny |
